71.The wall

I protect from harm

You and your close ones,

Standing tall and solid

To keep intruders at bay.

I stop cold wind

From biting you in winter

Just as I block hot wind

That burns in summer.

I join other friendly walls

To make your house

And in return I receive

Nails driven deep into me.
