115. Camera and holidays

Camera is a fantastic thing. It has infused a lot of life into our holidays. Now-a-days, one does not have to worry about cumbersome reels which required to be washed and developed. One does not have to keep count of the snaps one has taken. Just go on happily clicking  and see the results instantaneously. If you do not like the first one, take another one and yet another until you are satisfied. On top of it, prices of digital cameras are falling with each passing day. Anybody can afford one these days.

Go to any tourist spot. You will find people busy taking pictures. Camera has given people something to look forward to. Now, people know what they are going to do when they visit some tourist spot. With their camera around, they are sure to remain pretty busy.

Those who have no fascination for nature find taking pictures of nature exciting. Those who find their spouses most unattractive find their pictures worth taking. Spouses who hate to look at each other smile when confronted by a camera. No one wants the ugly face of reality to be recorded. Families which are pulling in different directions come together for the sake of camera.

I shudder to think what would happen to our holidays if there were no camera. Many people would be bored to death. They will carry their fights to tourist places and will come back as unrefreshed as ever.Camera has great sobering effect. It succeeds in doing what friends and well-wishers may fail to do.

No one is without a camera these days. Like the mobile phones,it is a necessity!!! Don't have to rely on our brains to store everything , so we click away!
