101.The child’s smile

When rivers go dry,
Mountains go bald,
Trees go naked,
Skies turn black.

When eyes stop shining,
Heart stops smiling,
Mind goes blank,
Legs become rigid.

When wind starts biting,
Sand starts burning,
Walls come closer,
Roof starts crumbling.

When all roads are closed,
All windows are shut,
When all hopes are dashed,
Watch a child smiling.
