37. At the Cam in Cambridge

The river Cam is a major attraction of Cambridge. Tours of about a mile-long stretch of the river by Punts(small boats) are available on payment. The 45- minute tours offer magnificent backside views of the world famous colleges on one side and natural beauty in abundance on the other. The boats are such that one can almost lie down and look all around. A large number of tourists can be seen flocking to the river all the time for punting. Visit to Cambridge is incomplete without punting.

Thank you very much Onkarji for sharing your experiences. These photos brought back all the memories from my trip to Cambridge with my classmates. We took the boat tour and I can relate to all the beautiful views :)

Also, you have an award waiting at Beyond Barriers... please visit and collect your award :) I've given 5 fun questions, but the choice is yours - you can either make a post on your blog or answer them in the comments column. Cheers!! :)
