153. Simple pleasures

Let us seek simple pleasures
Like eating side by side,
Walking hand in hand,
Laughing and sobbing together.

Let us dip deep
Into the pool of memories
To try and fish out pearls
We lost decades ago.

If nothing else works,
Let us just sit together
And hear the sounds of solitude.

Let us not talk
Of things big and precious
Like money and wealth,
Let us not even think
Of ways to acquire them.

Let us just seek joy
In things plain and simple
That need a little attention
And costs nothing....

Beautiful poem. Well written Onkarji.

These simple pleasures are the most precious things in life.
